PIXI's 10 Year Anniversary event announcement and other news.

We will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary by participating in the rejuvenated Computer Expo 2004, being held at the Neal Blaisdell Center, Tuesday and Wednesday, October 26 & 27, 2004. There will be all sorts of events going on associated with the Computer Expo including a technology exhibit, displays, and a Tuesday evening Technology Celebration with food, drink, music, and prizes. PIXI will have a booth on the exhibit floor demonstrating our newest product offerings, Titan Key (protected email boxes), Comm-Builder (web sites for the non-programmer), and the new Aloha.com web site. We invite you all to come down and meet all of us.

Note that there is a fee for attendance to this event. However, we do have a limited number of admission tickets to give away, so if you would like to attend the Expo, please call Customer Service at 522-9393 as soon as possible for free tickets to the event.

I would also like to take this opportunity of thanking those of you who have sent in emails regarding the reduction in SPAM that you have seen.

We appreciate it when we have good comments coming from our customers.

I will admit that we have been encountering some problems with integrating our accelerated dial-up service into our server setup. Please be patient; we should have this up and running smoothly soon.

I would also like to announce to you that we have successfully completed implementation of a brand new broadband Internet access network involving Kukui Plaza, a multi-tenant condo project in downtown Honolulu with over 900 units. We now have customers up and running on our version of broadband connectivity using the AC power lines within the building to deliver our services. We are also using a wireless connection from the buildings in the Kukui Plaza complex to bring their data to/from our network operations center in the 1132 Bishop St. building. Any of you condo or multi-tenant dwellers who would like to lower your broadband connection costs, please let us know so we can approach your building with this lower cost service.
